lilac lemonade
One of the best parts of spring is the abundance of fresh florals. Stepping outside ushers you into a garden of fragrance, beauty, and wonder!
Lars and I have lilac bushes in both our front and back yards, so to enjoy seasonal fare, I decided to embark on a mission to create treats from the flowers and rhubarb we have on hand. The first of these delights is lilac lemonade. My sisters came over to visit and we harvested lilac blossoms together, prepared the lemonade, and enjoyed it on the deck!
The lemonade is refreshing, with a delicate hint of the lilacs you know and love!
